Orient HD-OR01 Hand Drum / Frame Drum Tambour 35–50 CM:

The Orient HD-OR01 Hand Drum Frame Drum Tambour is a versatile percussion instrument designed to deliver warm, natural tones with expressive hand-played performance. Inspired by traditional Middle Eastern and world percussion instruments, this frame drum combines classic design with practical playability, making it suitable for beginners, students, performers, and music enthusiasts.

Available in sizes ranging from 35 cm to 50 cm, the HD-OR01 allows players to choose the sound and response that best matches their style. Smaller sizes produce a brighter and more focused tone, while larger diameters create deeper resonance and fuller bass response. Larger frame drums are commonly associated with a deeper sound character.

Crafted with a lightweight circular frame and durable drumhead construction, the instrument is designed for comfortable handling during extended performances and practice sessions. Frame drums traditionally feature a round frame design and may use natural or synthetic skins depending on the instrument style and intended durability.

Its responsive playing surface supports a wide range of techniques, from soft finger taps and rolls to stronger rhythmic accents. Suitable for folk music, cultural performances, rhythm exercises, educational settings, and acoustic sessions, the HD-OR01 delivers a balanced sound with good projection and dynamic expression.
